Hi, my name is Anja!

I am an Animator, visual artist and illustrator with a passion for visual storytelling and creating vibrant and joyful pieces that evoke emotions, tell stories and bring images to life.

​

There are moments when words fail to capture what we truly want to say. That’s where I step in. I strive to make language visible —translating emotions into images and giving the pictures in my mind a voice.

​

While I was studying astrophysics for 4 years I deliberately searched for a way to ease my artistic longing and found an opportunity  to do animation and art courses at the university of applied arts Vienna . There my passion grew and grew until it overlapped with my physics ambitions and I truly asked myself what I wanted to be.

I graduated in Animation for Media and Film at

HTL Spengergasse Vienna 2025.

​

Currently I am working on my shortfall "I spy with my little eye" where we explore the question of role models in feminist settings, what society expects from women and how they feel about it.
